Simplicity is the key to reproduction.  You will notice all of these materials are purposefully simple and "homemade".  This is by design.  As Americans we tend to think bigger and flashier is better, however that is a surefire way to overcomplicate things and unconciously communicate that you must be "professional" to be a disciplemaker.
